Allan Rivera is one of the systems support technicians at Vista Unified School District. His 10 years of experience stems from helping clientele directly. His “boots on the ground” role allows him deeper insight into his customers’ wants and needs, allowing him to provide support at a more granular level. 

At Vista Unified, Allan is responsible for the direct support of teachers, staff and students, for both hardware and software issues. He is also responsible for work on the backend, including application deployment, domain management, VoIP management, and firewall policies. He has supported Vista staff for over 6 years, having worked at various Managed Services Providers before that. In his spare time, he enjoys weight lifting, music in all its forms, film, and supporting his favorite sports team, the San Diego Padres.
